Christmas is no longer around the corner, it\u2019s officially on our doorstep, which means it\u2019s time to flock to malls and do that last-minute Christmas shopping you\u2019ve been dreading. We\u2019ve made a list of classic South African items we can’t imagine Christmas without, and because no-one likes having to make a second trip to the store, we checked it twice.<\/p>\n

Reserved for VIP adults \u2013 don\u2019t even think about touching these before Christmas!<\/p>\n

Beetroot<\/h4>\n

I\u2019m just here to stain the rice and potatoes on your plate.<\/p>\n

Canned Peaches<\/h4>\n

We could eat these straight out of the can, that\u2019s if mom didn\u2019t need it all for the trifle. Best add an extra can to your Christmas shopping list.<\/p>\n

Carrots<\/h4>\n

Glaze me up and top with bacon bits for your festive table spread.<\/p>\n
