The new braai eatery, set amid lush indigenous gardens, has been custom-built on a timber deck overlooking the rock pool at the rear of the hotel. With the imposing Twelve Apostles mountain range as the backdrop, the 32-seater room, boasting sea, mountain and sunset views, is open to the public for private functions and special events, as well as an ideal venue for Master Classes and cooking demonstrations.<\/p>\n

This is no ordinary braai experience. The timber and glass enclosure offers spectacular mountain views and is distinctive in its style and luxury. It takes the art and enjoyment of cooking over a grill\/barbeque, so loved by South Africans, to new heights. It\u2019s a striking space of mirrored walls and picture windows allowing natural light and panoramic views to wash in.<\/p>\n

The white cane chairs and tables, are the perfect palette to feature the \u2018West Palm Blue\u2019 upholstery, giving a coastal feel while maintaining the hotel’s signature elegance.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From barbecue chickens with herby salsa verde, to steak, classic braai broodjies, chicken skewers and options like beetroot sliders. Executive Chef Christo Pretorius and his team will delight your tastebuds with a variety of delicious grilled flavours so synonymous with the braai.<\/p>\n

Fly in and Dine in Style<\/h4>\n

In tandem with the opening of The Apostles Braai, the hotel\u2019s Helipad has been re-opened following a substantial upgrade. A wide range of food, accommodation and heli-flight packages<\/a>, are on offer to make the most of this special service in partnership with NAC Helicopters Cape Town.<\/a><\/p>\n

We highly recommend this experience; we promise serious Airwolf vibes as the helicopter lifts off and lands seamlessly amongst the indigenous foliage \u2013 you’ll be hard pressed to find a better way to arrive and leave the hotel. You can fly in for the braai experience, or perhaps leave from the hotel to do a spot of shopping at the V & A Waterfront. The walk takes approximately 60 minutes, finishing at the River crossing where dry snacks and a refreshing drink are served, before walkers return to one of the restaurants to enjoy their chosen culinary experience<\/a>.
