While you can book a treatment and have lunch at the Belmond Mount Nelson<\/a> at any time, use of the pool area is reserved for staying guests, so this is a really lovely opportunity to experience this special venue.<\/p>\n Armed with a magazine, sunscreen and a cozzie delved out of the depths of the packed away summer wardrobe, I recently enjoyed this package for myself.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The Librisa Spa is conveniently located right near the pool and restaurant, so it\u2019s easy to move between the three. My lovely therapist, Amanda, looked after me as I enjoyed an incredibly relaxing 60-minute Sothys Fundamental Facial in her capable hands.<\/p>\n I am going to be honest and say that it is a long time since I last had a facial and this treatment was a reminder of how good they are. My skin felt clean, pampered and bright post the facial, which was definitely long overdue.<\/p>\n Oasis restaurant<\/a> has recently been revamped and I loved the look of it. The painted mural on the internal wall makes you want to climb inside it and disappear into the jungly foliage. But, don\u2019t do that, the food at the buffet is well worth staying for.<\/p>\n The fresh new menu is bursting with delicious dishes and there are a number of ways to enjoy this. From choosing between just dining at the hot or cold sections, to the full buffet (highly recommended).<\/p>\n They really have thought about every palate when creating this menu. You can move between salads, cold tapas, Mediterranean vibes, seafood and a plethora of hot options too. On Sunday\u2019s there is a mouthwatering carvery, with perfectly pink beef and lamb and live music on the lawn as well.<\/p>\n I couldn\u2019t get enough of the divine ceviche and seared tuna, beef carpaccio and pickled beetroot with fromage salad. I also loved the DIY Caesar salad option, where you can create and dress your own salad just the way you like it.<\/p>\n Because we were there on a Sunday, the carvery option was available and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to enjoy this classic tradition. The roasted lamb and beef were both spectacularly cooked and served with Yorkshire puddings and all the trimmings. If you do the same, take my advice, it’s a good idea to get your swimming in before lunch! (Note* the carvery option is available on a Sunday only).<\/p>\n If you have space after all that (and yes, I did), then make sure you head over to the dessert bar. Indulge your childhood fantasy and top a freshly prepared crisp Belgian waffle with ice cream, Nutella, smarties and speckled eggs.
