The local community is also at last set to enjoy direct benefit from more than 200 years of traditional knowledge, through contractual royalty payments from Bestinvestin (Pty) Ltd, the owner of the Wupperthal Rooibos 1830 brand, to the Wupperthal Community Development Trust.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mp8JaHKduwI\" width=\"560\" height=\"314\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>An infusion that\u2019s truly special, Wupperthal Rooibos 1830 is bringing socio-economic\u00a0change to this impoverished and remote rural community.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Wupperthal is home to the best rooibos in the world.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The transformational nature of the business also creates much-needed employment in the small village of Nieuwoudtville in the Northern Cape Province, where the rooibos is processed and packaged.
