Braai fans are invited to enter Die Braai Crew\u2019s <\/i>braaibroodjie<\/i><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and steak braai competitions with Spar retail vouchers up for grabs as prizes. Pre-entrance gives you a free ticket to the festival.<\/p>\n Discover the difference between alpacas and llamas, watch sheep dogs at work, and enter your pet rabbit into a show. Kids can ride ponies, visit a petting farm and feed miniature donkeys a carrot or two. Find out where the milk in the bottle comes from, see sheep shearers in action and learn how different animals\u2019 wool is spun.<\/p>\n On Saturday 13 October, big and small can try out Boeresport; make stokbrood<\/i> and participate in an ice-cream eating competition.<\/p>\n There will be live music by popular artists Die Broers and Wynand and Chere\u00e9, and line-dancing fun, with music by Die Wildberries.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The festival takes place daily from 08h00 to 18h00. Tickets are available from Computicket and the gate at R100 for adults, and R30 for scholars (free on Thursday and Friday). Entrance is free for children under six years.
