The Glass Lounge at The Cape Milner may seem a smidge off the beaten track of First Thursdays but actually, it\u2019s perfectly placed to enjoy a couple of cocktails before hitting the chaos of Bree Street and the surrounds. The hotel, located on Milner Road in Tamboerskloof, brings their own offering for First Thursdays with their Birth of Cool DJ and cocktail sessions.<\/p>\n

Last month saw the launch of the first event that went off with a bang. This First Thursday, 5th April, will be the second installation and is bound to be just as vibey. The Glass Lounge venue forms a central point for the hotel and is a great venue no matter what the weather.<\/p>\n

The chic glass-enclosed space overlooks the hotel\u2019s pool area is ideal \u2013 it allows the beauty of the outside in, no matter what the weather is doing. We haven\u2019t quite hit the expectant cold and wet of winter yet and are holding onto any thread of warmer weather \u2013 we love that this venue suits that.<\/p>\n

Guests visiting the Glass Lounge at the Cape Milner Hotel can expect to receive a complimentary\u00a0Hendricks Gin\u00a0<\/span>cocktail on arrival, as well as 50% off the tapas menu and Belvedere Vodka, Hendricks Gin and Jack Black specials from 17h00 to 21h00.<\/span><\/p>\n

It wouldn\u2019t be quite as vibey without killer tunes and these are provided by monthly guest DJ\u2019s in conjunction with 42Entertainment<\/a>.<\/p>\n
