What You\u2019ll be Tasting at the Eikendal Christmas and Wine Pairing Experience<\/h4>\n

Expect a truly German cookie treat, Lebkuchen, with its nuances of honey, spices and cloves, covered in a thin layer of icing dancing around the Christmas tree with the Pinotage<\/a> 2016, which adds flavours of red and black cherries.<\/p>\n

The Charisma 2016, a blend of Shiraz<\/a>, Petit Verdot and Sangiovese, and the Mince Pie envelope revellers in a sensory explosion with the rich, sticky, sweet fruits wrapped in a buttery pastry.<\/p>\n

Just when you thought there is an end to this decadent pairing, the bold and juicy Cabernet Sauvignon <\/a>2015 steps up to join a slice traditional, South African Christmas cake, straight from Granny\u2019s recipe book.<\/p>\n
