Spring is well and truly sprung and it\u2019s time to celebrate summer at Wine Menu\u2019s inaugural Uncork and Unwind Summer Wine Festival,\u00a0<\/span>which takes place on Thursday, October 19.<\/span><\/p>\n

What’s happening at the Uncork and Unwind Summer Wine Festival<\/h4>\n

Visit the festival and taste some fantastic summer bubbles, white wine, ros\u00e9 and, of course, reds for the braai.\u00a0It promises to be an evening of fine wine surrounded by Volvo cars,\u00a0with snacks and soothing music.<\/p>\n

Moreover,\u00a0 there will be something for everybody at the Uncork and Unwind Summer Wine Festival; with bubbles and wine from 20 estates including Strandveld, Vondeling, Vriesenhof, Domaine Des Dieux, Ken Forrester and Saxenburg. It\u2019s the perfect opportunity to taste before you buy your holiday wines or those for year-end functions and, for those who order on the night, they will receive a special discount.<\/p>\n

The first Uncork & Unwind Summer wine festival takes place on Thursday, October 19, from 18h00 to 21h00 at Tom Campher Volvo, 3 Stanley Avenue, Auckland Park. There is secure off-street parking with added security guards.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wine Menu<\/em><\/strong><\/a> is a specialist wine retailer, situated at BluBird Shopping Centre, Atholl-Oaklands Rd, Illovo. It is owned by Corlien Morris who was born and bred in the Cape Winelands and has been involved in the local wine industry for more than 20 years. In May 2013 she opened her first specialist wine store in the Blu Bird Centre, Illovo, with the aim of showcasing South Africa\u2019s best wines. With her roots in the Cape and strong relationships with the winemakers and farm owners, she is able to source not only the best but the often-lesser known wines from boutique producers.
