While rooted in this heritage, the Spier of today has a vibrant and conscious energy. Award-winning wine can be paired with fabulous food, grown either on the farm or by nearby farmers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Spier 21 Gables is a range of single varietal wines that represent both the conditions of each vintage and the nuance of terroir. The name pays tribute to the farm\u2019s 300-year winemaking heritage and unique architectural legacy: an unrivalled 21 Cape Dutch Gables. One of the cornerstones of this range is the Pinotage, which is barrel-fermented and matured, and central to South Africa\u2019s vineous history.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tasting notes:<\/strong> flavours of caramelised black cherries, hints of dark spice and dark chocolate.
