Relatively new kid on the block, Lucky Bao, is chef Cheyne Morrisby\u2019s latest venture. It is situated right next door to Cheyne\u2019s, his first Hout Bay restaurant.<\/p>\n

With seating for only 8 people around the bar it\u2019s a cosy and intimate venue. The open plan kitchen allows you to watch your food being prepared.<\/p>\n

Serving \u2018bao\u2019 \u2013 an absolutely delicious steamed Chinese bun \u2013 with fillings such as grilled pork belly with soy, maple and sriracha, roasted sticky duck with fuji apple and sesame jam, soft shell crab with a lemongrass and fennel salad and tofu tempura with pickled shiitake and lime aioli.<\/p>\n
