The French Huguenots arrived in the Cape in the late 1600s and settled in what became known as Franschhoek, or \u2018French Corner\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The Huguenots planted vines as the terroir was perfectly suited to the production of wine.\u00a0All\u00e9e Bleue was bought in 1999 by Friedrich-Wilhelm and Elke Dauphin, who were determined to breathe new life into the estate.<\/p>\n<p>All\u00e9e Bleue L&#8217;Armour Toujours is made in Franschhoek, in the heart of the Western Cape&#8217;s wine growing region. It is a blend of 40% Cabernet Franc, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot \u00a0and 5% Petit Verdot.<\/p>\n<p>Grapes were sourced from selected mountain vineyards in the Banghoek area that is known for its individuality. It is a unique wine that will intrigue an experienced connoisseur. In addition, the wine will age beautifully over the next 5-7 years.<\/p>\n<p><b>Tasting Notes<br \/>\nOn the nose<br \/>\n<\/b>It has delicate flavours such as fynbos, cedar and cigar box, which adds a level of smokiness that your nose may easily detectable on the nose.
