Warm up this winter with a menu brimming with value and Chef Kerry Kilpin\u2019s exciting seasonal tweaks at Bistro Sixteen82, Steenberg\u2019s trendy cellar door restaurant in Constantia<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

For an indulgent lunch of bistro-style comfort food, there\u2019s a special hearty and homely winter menu to keep you fuelled until the end of September. From R185 for two courses, R215 for three and R245 for a four course meal.<\/p>\n

Chef Kerry\u2019s lip-smacking trio of starters, mains and desserts, gives you ample to choose from. The panko crusted cheese fritter, chicken liver parfait and cauliflower & paprika soup come with her signature twist of delicious salsas, jellies and chutneys. The mains of sustainable fish, beef ragout and mushroom risotto are enriched with creamy sauces and great depth of flavour. For the sweet tooth, Chef Kerry\u2019s lemon posset is a must as is her almond & salted caramel chocolate torte. For the ultimate winter comforter, her take on traditional bread and butter pudding served with \u201chot cross bun\u201d ice cream is well worth a try.<\/p>\n

Chef Kerry\u2019s special tapas menu selection of five tapas dishes for R300 has been extended for the winter months \u2013 ideal as an early supper for two between 17h00 and 20h00. Fuelled with fresh inspiration and bursts of exciting flavours from her recent travels to Barcelona and London, her daily selection of tapas dishes is the perfect after work indulgence with the wide selection of top notch Steenberg bubblies and wines.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For a delicious breakfast menu made with love, Bistro Sixteen82 has it all. Made from the freshest local produce and drizzled in rich and hearty sauces, vinaigrettes and syrups, Chef Kerry\u2019s breakfast classics with a twist will tantalise even the most discerning taste buds. With three ways to savour her legendary Hollandaise sauce: the classic eggs Benedict, mushroom Benedict, or eggs royale with added smoked rainbow trout and baby spinach, this is breakfast heaven. Until the end of September breakfast guests will be treated to a complimentary cup of tea or coffee served indoors or out on the terrace during weekdays.<\/p>\n

Bistro Sixteen82 is open seven days a week. The breakfast and lunch special is available from Monday-Friday. Breakfast is served daily from 09h00-11h00 and lunch at 12h00-15h00. The special tapas selection is available all week from 17h00-20h00 for tables of up to ten people.<\/p>\n
