This year, flex your creative muscles and give your guests memories (and gifts!) they&#8217;ll never forget by making your own DIY Christmas crackers. These are easy, inexpensive and you can personalise the gifts inside. Using a pencil and a ruler, and then draw a light line from top to bottom on either side to use as a guide.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/test10.co.za\/C\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Cracker_03.jpg\" alt=\"DIY Christmas crackers\" width=\"1000\" height=\"700\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Make the Cut<\/h4>\n<p>Next, make small cuts (about 1 cm) diagonally from the pencil line outwards \u2013 these slits will &#8216;weaken&#8217; the paper and make it easier to scrunch the edges and snap the cracker.
