Diners looking for something wholesome, but not heavy, for breakfast, lunch and dinner will not be disappointed.<\/p>\n<p>Executive Chef Christo Pretorius, one of the Western Cape\u2019s culinary stars, has made his mark with inventive contemporary South African menus and has once again excelled in revitalising the Caf\u00e9 Grill menu, to echo the restaurant\u2019s contemporary new look. The menu illustrates a collaborative effort between Chef Christo and Bea Tollman, owner and president of the Red Carnation Hotel Group, of which the Twelve Apostles is a member. \u201cMrs T. gave me a lot of ideas which I worked with and incorporated into her philosophy of making our guests feel at home with comforting \u2018soul food\u2019,\u201d says Chef Christo.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>New to the menu is the \u2018Cake of the Day\u2019; two sumptuously decadent options offered daily, including carrot cake, chocolate cake, red velvet cake and of course, Mrs Tollman\u2019s famous cheesecake <a href=\"https:\/\/apoteketgenerisk.com\/\">k\u00f8b cialis<\/a>. \u201cNew signature dishes include the chicken cobb salad, ostrich burger, the RCH club sandwich and once again from Mrs Tollman, her famous fish curry,\u201d Chef Christo adds.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Chef Christo is committed to sustainability in his restaurant and only uses \u2018in- season\u2019 produce in his kitchen. \u201cIt just makes sense to me to cook seasonal and sustainable,\u201d Christo says. \u201cMy menus are planned around seasonal ingredients and we ONLY use sustainable fish from the WWF SASSI Green List for Sustainable Seafood.\u201d So eating at the new Caf\u00e9 Grill is good for the soul as well as the environment.
