With its recent addition of two gold medals and a silver from the Michelangelo International Wine and Spirits Awards, Wilderer Distillery has established its position as the most awarded craft gin distillery in the country. Wilderer Distillery is South Africa\u2019s first licenced grappa distillery.<\/p>\n
Rated by a panel, including some of the world\u2019s foremost judges, at the Michelangelo\u2019s, the Wilderer Fynbos Gin<\/a><\/strong> and Grappa Muscato Barrique received gold while the Peach Mampoer claimed silver. The Wilderer Fynbos Gin\u2019s gold win secured its third consecutive international gold medal. Now also operating at La Grapperia at the Spice Route Destination in Suid-Agter Paarl, the distillery uses an advanced 700-litre copper pot still to create the perfect triple-distilled spirits.<\/p>\n Wilderer\u2019s range of craft spirits including the award-winning gin, grappa and mampoer are available from Wilderer Distillery at Spice Route Destination in Paarl and Pappa Grappa in Simondium.
