You need to try the grass-fed sirloin, egg and chips \u2013 the meat is matured for 28 days to ensure ultimate flavour. The ostrich fillet and springbok shank are also great local options.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Beer<\/strong><br \/>\nWash down your steak with a Naked Mexican from Boston Breweries an easy drinking beer with minimal bitterness. You can enjoy live music in the beer garden while slowly sipping on your beer. Friday night is open mic night. Steven Gilroy\u2019s philosophy is to have fun and then others around you will also have fun. Gilroy\u2019s has won the most leisurely tourist destination in the West Rand award four times.<b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Grub<br \/>\n<\/strong>Gilroy\u2019s Brewpub has a limited selection of food but creates a truly intimate dining experience. Start off with Irish pub style potato skins to combat your initial hunger. If you want something bigger, try the gammon steak with mash and sauerkraut, it\u2019s meaty and delish.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Beer<br \/>\n<\/strong>Gilroy\u2019s has a selection of four craft brews to choose from, all of them are worth trying. Gilroy Serious is the strongest beer but relatively mild at 5.5% alcohol. It is a dark beer that\u2019s easy to drink that will surprise you with its flavourful palate.
