\n<\/a>For mains we selected the grilled line fish, which was kingklip with a herbed Parmesan crust with a beurre blanc and served with crushed potatoes. My partner opted for the vegetarian beetroot and feta burger, served with pomme frites. The fish was cooked well and the beurre blanc light and delicious. The burger was substantial with a lovely toasted brioche bun and possibly the best pomme frites we\u2019ve had anywhere. We enjoyed a glass of the boutique estate\u2019s Cabernet Sauvignon with our meal. \n<\/a>The restaurant is attached to the wine tasting room, so visitors can sample the estate\u2019s wines before sitting down to eat. The wine tasting area features a big log fire that on the right day will be a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the warmth.<\/p>\n
