{"id":24445,"date":"2016-03-17T14:46:40","date_gmt":"2016-03-17T14:46:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test10.co.za\/C\/?p=24445"},"modified":"2016-03-24T06:16:28","modified_gmt":"2016-03-24T06:16:28","slug":"lismore-wines-spotlight-internationally","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/test10.co.za\/C\/lismore-wines-spotlight-internationally\/","title":{"rendered":"Lismore wines in the spotlight internationally"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Lismore Estate wines from Greyton, South Africa, have achieved considerable success internationally in recent reports and commendations from Neal Martin in\u00a0Robert Parker\u2019s Wine Advocate, Decanter Magazine and Jancis Robinson of the Financial Times.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">Samantha O\u2019Keefe\u2019s\u00a0\u201cfabulous\u201d 2014 Syrah is the only SA red to achieve \u2018Top 50\u2019 status in Robert Parker\u2019s Top 50 Picks of 2015. \u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">The team at Robert Parker Wine Advocate tasted 30,000 wines, and chose 21 whites and 29 reds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In addition, the 2013 Lismore Chardonnay scored 91 points, the 2014 Viognier scored 90 points, as did the 2014 Barrel Fermented Sauvignon Blanc.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">Renowned wine critic and author, Jancis Robinson, in her Financial Times column \u2018Asked a Sommelier!\u201d, cited Lismore Estate\u2019s 2011 Chardonnay as one of her \u201cfavourite off-piste wines.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">And, just last week, the 2014 Barrel Fermented Sauvignon Blanc featured as Decanter Magazine\u2019s \u201cMust Try White\u201d in tasting director Christelle Giber\u2019s column.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Samantha O\u2019Keefe, winemaker, commented; \u201cIt\u2019s wonderful, and a little humbling, to get recognition from people and publications like Jancis Robinson, Neal Martin and Decanter Magazine.
