If Loop Street is on your daily commute home, you will definitely have noticed the beautiful space on the corner that intersects with Hout Street. Part of the Yours Truly group, it is perfectly placed to feed hoards of hungry, hip businessmen and women in the CBD.<\/p>\n

The caf\u00e9 opens out onto the street with panoramic windows, views over the bustling city and outdoor barstool seating. The d\u00e9cor is slick and fresh \u2013 we loved the Underground ceramic tile backdrop and touches such as the twinkling fairy lights, greenery, skulls and filament light bulbs.<\/p>\n

Besides the cool d\u00e9cor and vibey atmosphere, there is of course, great food on offer \u2013 the sandwiches, salads and pizzas will coax you out of your apartment or office and into this appealing new spot.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Following the style of their deli on Kloof Street, they have a wide range of salads such as the Yours Bluely with rocket, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, bacon, crumbled blue cheese and Peppadews\u00ae or the Jan van Riebeeck \u2013 a bed of rocket leaves with a generous serving of cherry tomatoes, olives, feta cheese, biltong and avocado drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette.

<\/div><\/div>Also on offer is a selection of delectable sandwiches such as the B.L.A.T – crispy bacon strips, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado with homemade mustard mayo, served on pumpkin seed rye, or the Delicious Monster \u2013 100% rye bread with smoked chicken, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onion, avocado and homemade mayo. One thing you can always count on is that the bread is freshly baked, the ingredients are seasonal, and that the lettuce will always be crisp.<\/p>\n

We tried the Healthy Start \u2013 100% rye bread served with hummus, avocado, cream cheese, lettuce, red onion and beef tomatoes. It was everything we wanted it to be \u00ad \u2013 generous, fresh and wholesome.\u00a0If you haven’t visited a Yours Truly branch before, here\u2019s a tip \u2013 you can also opt to build your own dream sarmie \u2013 there is a choice of 7 freshly baked breads as well as a long list of fresh veggies, meats, charcuterie, cheeses, sauces, dressings and spreads to chose from.\u00a0

<\/div><\/div> We also enjoyed an iced coffee \u2013 it’s a win on a hot summer\u2019s day when you\u2019re in need of a caffeine fix on your lunch break.\u00a0What is really great is that they open at 06h00, which makes it the perfect spot for early risers looking for somewhere to read the newspaper over a morning espresso.<\/p>\n

There is an extensive list of drinks including a selection of craft beers and wine. This is a great spot to fuel up before a big night out on the town \u2013 fill up on one the awesome pizzas on offer \u2013 be warned though, you\u2019ll probably get so comfortable that your plans to move on will go out of the window…<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If you are looking for somewhere to enjoy a glass of wine or a pint of beer and to watch the world go by, this is the place \u2013 the location is amazing, the d\u00e9cor is welcoming and funky, and the staff are friendly. What better way to spend a lunch hour or a warm summer afternoon?
