With its understated old world Italian charm and scrumptious Italian menu, Remos Originale has become a local favourite in Mount Edgecombe and beyond. The\u00a0<em>famiglia<\/em>\u00a0behind it\u00a0made sure that a lot of love went into it when they opened in 2007. What started out at a small caf\u00e9 with a limited menu has blossomed into a culinary empire, driven by passion, and that same love and thought has gone into the revamp of the original store. Also, although a new menu has been introduced, Renzo Scribante and his team have kept some \u2018old favourites\u2019 for people who just can\u2019t say no to the much-loved Remos classics.<\/p>\n<p>One of the most exciting additions to the bustling restaurant is the new \u2018Pasta Factory\u2019. Made fresh every day, you can order your favourite authentic home-made penne, tagliatelle, linguine, fusilli and spaghetti and take it home, or alternatively order it off the menu.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cWe are on the brink of a revolution in pasta making,\u201d explains Renzo.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cThere is a very real opportunity to give customers a quality of pasta that is quite unsurpassed, that perfectly fits the growing demand for high quality, fresh, locally produced food.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If your kids are your culinary companions, they will love the kids\u2019 classes that are starting in September at the Pasta Factory. They will get to don a little chef\u2019s apron, plus take home a kids\u2019 pack, which you purchase on your first course. Classes are kept small \u2013 with a maximum of 10 kids per class \u2013 and there\u2019s a dedicated teacher for every class. The good news is that these classes will run through the school holidays, so your little ones can have fun, while you enjoy some time out with an espresso and something delicious.
