It\u2019s time for Cape Town whisky fans to get ready to welcome the Whisky Live Showroom, the exciting boutique-style tasting event that will bring some of the world\u2019s finest whiskies to the city from 18 \u2013 20 June 2015.
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

This intimate showcase of more than 100 expressions of whisky will be hosted at one of the city\u2019s most popular venues, The Lookout (on the V&A Waterfront), and provides the perfect opportunity for a pre-Father\u2019s Day outing, or even Father\u2019s Day gift shopping.<\/span><\/p>\n

Show\u00a0<\/span>Highlights<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Arran, presented by passionate Scot, Andy Bell<\/strong>.
\nTomatin, Tullibardine and Smokehead presented by\u00a0\u00a0the well-known Dullstrooom trio from Wild About Whisky<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mickey Baloyi<\/strong>, \u2018the African Scot\u2019 will present six expressions of Glenbrynth, including its 40-year old single malt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Local whisky expert Candice Baker<\/strong> will present The Macallan\u2019s 1824 Series.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Master distiller Andy Watts<\/strong> will be on hand to guide visitors through the ever-popular and 100% South African Bains Cape Mountain Whisky and Three Ships.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whisky legend and kilt-resplendent Keeper of the Quaich, Pierre Meintjes<\/strong> will present Bunnahabhain.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brian Glass<\/strong>, Keeper of the Quaich and all-round font of whisky knowledge will expertly guide fans of the dram through a tasting of Scottish Leader\u2019s newly-launched Signature.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other well-known whiskies available for sampling include Glenmorangie (including the Quinta Ruban), The Glenlivet, Chivas Regal, The Balvenie, Glenfiddich, Glen Grant and the ever-quirky Black Bottle.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Innis & Gunn craft beers will also be presented by the ever-entertaining Jason Duganzich<\/strong> at the Whisky Live Showroom given that they are matured in casks previously used for aging Kentucky bourbon thus bringing the worlds of whisky and beer together in a delicious, refreshing pint. Innis & Gunn Original was introduced to South Africa in 2014, and Innis & Gunn Rum Finish and Innis & Gunn Toasted Oak IPA will also be available.<\/span>\"Innisandgunn-700x400Untitled-1\"
