The 2015 event took place this past Sunday the 22<sup>nd<\/sup> March and was a gathering of perfect pastries and delicious wine.<\/p>\n<p>The event was beautifully styled by <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/daconcept.wix.com\/daconcept\" target=\"_blank\">Devon Anderson Concept<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and featured stunning d\u00e9cor pieces in turquoise tones with elements of sliver, pewter, pale greys and blues. From bunting to, hanging bottle \u2018vases\u2019 and stunning bowl designs, each with different and interesting contents, it was a feast for the eyes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/test10.co.za\/C\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Nitida-561x300-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14854\" src=\"https:\/\/test10.co.za\/C\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Nitida-561x300-2.jpg\" alt=\"Nitida-561x300-2\" width=\"567\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/test10.co.za\/C\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Nitida-561x300-2.jpg 567w, https:\/\/test10.co.za\/C\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Nitida-561x300-2-300x159.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 567px) 100vw, 567px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The event was of course also a feast for the tummy and boasted a selection of beautiful pastries from several of Cape Town\u2019s top restaurants, cookery schools and pastry shops, including our very own contributor <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/test10.co.za\/C\/author\/tina-bester\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tina Bester<\/a><\/strong>, the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.queenoftarts.co.za\" target=\"_blank\">Queen of Tarts.<\/a><\/strong> There were also delicious delights from Denise\u2019s Cupcakes, Larder, Whimsical Cupcakes, Eureka Mills and many more. One of the highlights was definitely the bite-sized pork belly ciabatta from Arugula Deli, which was just delicious and fall-apart tender and juicy.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/test10.co.za\/C\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Nitida-561x300-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14855\" src=\"https:\/\/test10.co.za\/C\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Nitida-561x300-3.jpg\" alt=\"Nitida-561x300-3\" width=\"567\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/test10.co.za\/C\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Nitida-561x300-3.jpg 567w, https:\/\/test10.co.za\/C\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Nitida-561x300-3-300x159.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 567px) 100vw, 567px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Guests tasted a range of Nitida\u2019s wines with each bite of sweet of savoury pastry and the combination is the ideal way to get to know the estate\u2019s wines, as well as sample some of the best baking in the city. The weather played ball and the sun shone beautifully over the event.
