Edible Butter Olive Oil Candles<\/h3>\n

These edible butter olive oil candles are a show-stopper for your table, perfect for dipping veggies and breaking bread with friends and family. Each flicker invites guests to savour starters in a truly unique and delicious way.<\/p>\n

Ingredients<\/h4>\n

250 g salted butter
\n1 head of garlic
\n1 Tbsp (15 ml) African Gold Extra Virgin Olive Oil + extra to drizzle
\nA pinch of salt
\n1 Tbsp (5 ml) fresh herbs (thyme, oregano, basil, or rosemary)
\n1 x 250 ml paper cup (alternatively, use cling wrap, a ramekin, or a small bowl)
\n1 food-safe, edible candle wick (organic hemp\/beeswax)
\nFresh baguette or your favourite bread<\/p>\n

Method<\/h4>\n

Preheat the oven to 200 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n

Soften the butter at room temperature in a mixing bowl.<\/p>\n

Cut off the top of the garlic bulb, place it on a piece of tin foil, drizzle with African Gold Extra Virgin Olive Oil, sprinkle with salt, wrap the garlic bulb with the tin foil, and bake for 45\u201360 minutes, until soft.<\/p>\n

Cool the roasted garlic, then squeeze the cloves into the softened butter.<\/p>\n

Mix the African Gold Extra Virgin Olive Oil, salt, and herbs; mix until well combined.<\/p>\n
