This includes winning the coveted Rosa Kruger Trophy for best Old Vine Wine with the 2020 vintage of the Brookdale Estate Old Vine Chenin Blanc 2020, which took Gold with a top score of 97\/100 in the Trophy Wine Show of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Brookdale proprietor Tim Rudd says that it is a bitter-sweet moment for Brookdale. \u201cWe are incredibly proud of Kiara and what she has achieved at Brookdale over the past five years. It has been a real pleasure to create a platform for Kiara\u2019s talent as a winemaker and a launching pad for her blossoming career, and so it is fitting that her Brookdale chapter concludes with this phenomenal accolade.
