The Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds (SANCCOB) is thrilled to announce the opening of The Coffee Fountain, a brand-new coffee shop situated in SANCCOB\u2019s beautiful new Visitor Centre in Table View.<\/p>\n

Brewing Conversations About Conservation<\/h4>\n

Overlooking the scenic Rietvlei Nature Reserve and offering expansive views of Table Mountain, SANCCOB\u2019s Visitor Centre offers an educational, immersive experience aimed at raising awareness about the critically endangered African penguin and other seabird species \u2013 many of which are also endangered and in urgent need of public support. With informative exhibits, displays and daily tours, the centre offers something for everyone, whether you’re an avid nature lover, a curious learner or simply looking to entertain visitors with a meaningful and memorable experience.<\/p>\n

Visitors can also participate in guided tours of the seabird hospital, where they can observe these fascinating seabirds up close, learn about the organisation\u2019s conservation efforts, and even witness the charming penguin waddle. There is also a beautiful curio shop filled with wonderful gifts for all ages, just in time for the festive season.<\/p>\n

Visitor Centre Tours<\/h4>\n

Tours are conducted daily at SANCCOB’s centres, and for an optimal experience, visitor groups are limited to 10 people per group. Bookings are essential to guarantee your tour spot; walk-ins will only be accommodated if space is available.<\/p>\n

The Coffee Fountain<\/h4>\n

SANCCOB is open daily from 08h00 to 17h00. Can’t make it in person? No problem! The education team can provide you with guided virtual tours of the facility. You can also explore their online shop and support SANCCOB<\/a> from wherever you are.<\/p>\n
